Labradorite Beads
Labradorite Beads were most commonly used to decorate a Viking's necklaces and bracelets, but other Norse jewelry such as brooches, pendants and earrings. One of the first use of labradorite beads by natives was during the 17th century, in Arctic Greenland. Some research has found that these beads were in high demand in Iceland too during this time period. This is because they are made up of many different minerals that reflect light in different ways. The most common one found in these beads is called tourmaline and has a multicolored surface. As you move it around in your hand, it will reflect different colors, depending on which way you hold it.
