Graywood Beads
Graywood beads have smoky gray to brown coloring when rolled around in the light. For one specific wood species, the term graywood may be used, or it is often applied to a number of woods that are gray in color. Gray wood beads are lightweight and very smooth all natural wood beads. These are made in the same manner as other beads, but instead of being cut from sheets of plastic or glass, they are carved from red coral. This type of gemstone is considered semi precious because it is not mined and often contains impurities in its color. The graywood bead color depends on the type of coral used to carve them and they can have a wide assortment of colors.
